If I could get rid of everything in my wardrobe and start again, buying only beautiful quality and long lasting pieces, I wouldn’t hesitate to do so. The idea of owning a capsule wardrobe of perfect, wearable items is something that strongly appeals to me and someday I’ll achieve it, but for now, I can only dream (and dream I have).

Lighter hues of cream, peach and camel tones have crept their way into my most loved recently. Not quite replacing my love for monochrome, but I’m hoping the two can live side by side in my wardrobe. It all stemmed from desperately wanting a light peachy/nude blazer so I compiled the little list of lust-worthy items above based around that (although I still haven’t found the perfect one). First up, can we discuss the watch? Yes it’s Chanel (from George Tarratt) but oh would I love to own it. It makes such a difference from plain gold and the black is so striking. Next, my hunt for the perfect mid-dark wash jeans is an ongoing on, but the Paige pair are the top of my list. I already have a pair from them and they’re honestly the best fitting jeans I own, so wouldn’t think twice about grabbing another if the opportunity came up.

For late summer/early autumn, I’m feeling oversized jumpers with tasseled loafers, accessorised with a structured bag and long necklaces, will be my look. Maybe an oversized, black boyfriend coat to throw on top when it gets colder. I weirdly can’t wait for autumn style already, as I love the pieces that’ve already made their way into the shops. Just need to get saving to add the above to my wardrobe!

What are you loving at the moment? Oh and take a peek at Pierrelecat, one of my favourite bloggers.
