BEAUTY: Five for a Peachy Look

I’ve been leaning towards peachy perfect shades as the weather has been warming up *looks outside at rain* and, well, they just look so pretty next to each other, don’t they? I quite like a neutral, champagne eye with a peachy orange lip and a slightly warming blush, as occasionally I don’t want to look like my usual dead self. On with the products…

With the sun being out most days, I tend to secure my makeup in place with the Laura Mercier Mineral Foundation Primer. I tend to use the oil-free version, but it ran out and this was next in line to be used! Laura Mercier primers definitely help extend the wear time of your foundation and I genuinely think it’s one of the few primers that do! It’s great to stop everything sliding by lunchtime.

I’ve been opting for the lighter version of my favourite foundation recently by using the Estee Lauder Double Wear Light Foundation. It still gives medium coverage and conceals imperfections well, but doesn’t feel as heavy on the skin as its full coverage counterpart. It blends really easily do and you can apply it with fingers if you wish! Great to use if you’re in a rush.

On my eyes I’ve been using MAC Paint Pot in Vintage Selection either as a base or on its own. It’s a really pretty slightly pink champagne colour which really makes the eyes pop, even with just a cat eye flick! Plus it takes nothing to blend and you don’t even have to use a brush.

NARS Blush in Luster has found its way into my makeup bag, as it’s the prettiest peachy tone. I like how buildable the NARS foundations are and this one really brightens up my skin.

Finally, I’ve been revisiting the beautiful lipstick that is Illamasqua Glamore Lipstick in Cherub. Released as part of their nude collection, the warm coral tone is so flattering on the lips and adds a bit of oomph to your face – one for Monday mornings I think!

What have you been loving recently?
