My skin hasn’t been so great lately, I’ll admit. I’m not sure if it’s down to my rubbish diet (which I’m working on improving) or products haven’t been working, but either way it’s blemish prone and rather dull right now. I’ve been using the above in an attempt to soothe and brighten and restore my skin back to its former (sort of) glory.

Starting with a cleanser, the Una Brennan Vitamin C Cleansing Oil was mentioned in a recent post but I’m still pretty obsessed with it. It smells like oranges and removes makeup perfectly, even waterproof mascara and lipstick that usually doesn’t budge. Amazing price, too. I’ll be getting another bottle when it runs out!

Next are three treatment style serums. For soothing and restoring the balance in my skin, I’ll opt for the Origins Mega Mushroom Skin Relief Advanced Face Serum, as it’s one of the most calming serums I’ve tried in a while. I got this last September and always use it when my skin is playing up, one to look at if you suffer from irritated skin!

The following two brightening treatments, one I use during the day and one at night. If I want a boost before putting makeup on in the morning, I’ve been reaching for the Aurelia Revitalise and Glow Serum which is a recent purchase as part of my Space NK haul. It has an amazing scent and really does add a lit-from-within glow to the skin. It sinks in super quick too! One an evening, I’ve been trialling the Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector, which works to brighten skin for a more even complexion. I really like it so far and hope it continues to help my skin!

Finally, from my USA Sephora haul post, comes the Kate Somerville Goat Milk Cream which is a moisturiser designed for sensitive skin. As this couldn’t come at a better time, I’ve been slathering my face in it with the hopes that it’ll help calm it down and reduce blemishes. I
