BEAUTY: Today’s Makeup #3

Hello! This was intended to be a five product face, but as a makeup addict, that was harder than first thought. Since the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser came into my life, I’ve been quite happy having a bit of a lighter base. It’s a welcome change as the feeling of wanting to scrub a heavy base off as soon as you get in the house is never nice! Its dewy finish is perfect for Spring/Summer skin and you can’t really go wrong applying it – ideal for lazy days!

With having a lighter base, I’ve just been adding coverage where needed (under my eyes, around my nose and chin) with the Dior DiorSkin Nude Concealer. It’s not as heavy duty as I’d usually go for, but does offer a fair bit of coverage and seems to lighten the areas, which is great for uneven skin and under the eyes.

Recently, I’ve become quite partial to semi-matching my cheek colour to my lips as it seems to bring my makeup together and creates a more solid look. If you get me. So, putting Topshop Powder Blush in Let Her Go and MAC Lady Danger Lipstick (yes, I’m still obsessed) together seems to fulfill my matching needs. They’re both such lovely orange tones and I cannot stop wearing them.

On my eyes, I’ve been wearing my signature cat flick courtesy of Topshop Magic Liner, which is one of my all time favourite pen-style liners. Then I apply a few coats of Maybelline The Falsies Volume Express Mascara, which I’ve went back to after not using it for ages. It’s quite good at adding a bit of thickness, which is what I want for my already long lashes.

So, my five product face turned into a six product one, as once I get raking around my makeup bag I can’t stop. It’s definitely a good, lighter look for Spring so I’ll be wearing the lovely NARS tinted moisturiser more often – prepare yourselves to be sick of seeing it!
