Hello! Perfumes are something quite personal, far more unique to an individual then say makeup or hair products. For example, I much prefer warm or sweet scents than floral (as floral tends to give me a headache), whereas people are all over that MJ Daisy like the plague.
Anyways, I thought I would share my favourite perfumes with you all, even though my skills as far as describing scents are fairly limited. First up is my all time favourite perfume Vivienne Westwood Boudoir, which, according to the website, is supposed to be floral which I don’t think it is all all. It’s warm, heavy and just perfect. I wouldn’t be without it. If fruity is more your thing, I’d recommend either Nina Ricci L’Elixir (which is red berry scented) or Guerlain La Petite Robe Noir (which smells of blackberries and is delicious).
If I want a lighter fragrance for daytime I’ll pick YSL Parisienne, which is fruity but uplifting and sort of wakes you up… If that’s a normal description of a perfume (it probably isn’t). The newest edition to my collection is Diesel Loverdose*, which has a sort of rich, fruity liquorice scent which settles down to a warm amber and vanilla. I adore it!
