BEAUTY: Makeup Favourites

There’s been a fair few repeated products on my face recently, some new some I’ve used for an absolutely age, but they’re all worth a shout for being wonderful. So, today I’m sharing with you a little selection of my most used products that have taken up residence in my makeup bag.

Starting with my base, the Hourglass Immaculate Foundation was one purchased during a Space NK £10 off deal. At a whopping £50, I expected a lot from this foundation. Perhaps it would give me the flawless face I’ve never had? Well, it came close. It’s truly a lovely foundation to use, it’s light on application, covers imperfections, lasts all day and leaves skin looking radiant. It’s not quite HG status, but it’s pretty darn amazing. I’ve been setting it with NARS Light Reflecting Setting Powder, which has been my favourite setting powder to use recently – it never looks cakey!

Something I’ve went back to recently is a Stila Convertible Colour in Lillium, which is a beautiful natural flush pink shade. It’s not too bright, not too in your face, just the perfect pinky tone. I love the formula of these, they’ve got a great cream texture but don’t just evaporate off your face like other cream blushes can.

The theBalm Nude’Tude Eyeshadow Palette is reasonably new in my collection, but I’ve been getting so much use out of it that I’m disappointed I didn’t buy it earlier. My favourite shade has to be Selfish, which is a beautiful taupe-grey (like an amped up MAC Satin Taupe aka my favourite eyeshadow ever). Over this I’ve been slicking on the Eyeko Skinny Mini Eyeliner, which has worked its way into being a firm favourite! I adore pen style eyeliners as they’re so easy to use and I love how black this one is, too.

Finally, I know you’re all sick of me going on about MAC Lady Danger but I can’t give up the orangey tones. So, instead I’ve been wearing MAC So Chaud, which is a great matte bold tangerine shade. I like it so much more than Morange, so have been wearing it a lot recently!
