Some of you may or may not know this, but myself and Phil actually met on a dating app. I joined it for a joke and he was about to delete his account when he noticed my picture and the rest, as they say, is history. I mean. I’ve tried to brush this link to dating apps under the rug in the past, but I’ve come to accept that they’re just the best way to actually meet people when you want to weed out the ones you have literally no crack with. It’s nice to be able to ask questions before meeting up with people and try to get to know someone to see if you’re compatible.
The only downside to dating apps these days is that people are super quick to judge, swiping anyone away without giving them a chance often based on their photos alone – but that’s where JigTalk comes in to help.
The idea of JigTalk is so easy – it’s basically a blind dating app. Initially, your photo is covered in 16 jigsaw pieces but when you’ve matched to another person they’ll slowly pop away. The app asks icebreaker questions to make the conversation a little easier and with every message exchanged, another little jigsaw piece will disappear. It definitely gives you a chance to learn a bit about someone before seeing if you’re physically attracted to them, after all, personality always wins in a relationship!
It’s definitely a new and different approach to dating compared to the other apps out there, as it focuses more on personality and connecting with another app user than judging a book by its cover.
