Who doesn’t love Paris? No one, that’s who. And, in the spirit (sorry) of the nights getting lighter and the temperature becoming warmer, it’s always nice to opt for a cocktail or two throughout Summer. I always tend to go for something fruity but it’s nice to branch out, but I thought I’d share a Paris inspired recipe for something a bit more daring for those who like their cocktails with a bit of a kick.

Expert mixologist JJ Goodman, who created the London Cocktail Club with his first bar in Covent Garden, has put together six Paris inspired cocktails for you to try out this Summer. Inspired by the coolest bars in Paris (here), according to the Insider City Guides curated by The Times and The Sunday Times (here), the cocktails reflect the awesome vibes that you only get in the trendy capital of France.

So, let’s get on with the cocktail! This particular one, which you can see in the following video, is called the ‘Corpse Reviver’ which I’ve chosen to show you based on the name alone – how cool! The ingredients are listed below if you want to have a go at it yourself, too.

Ingredients:

20ml. gin
20ml Cointreau
20ml Lillet Blanc
20ml fresh lemon juice
1 dash absinthe (5ml)

Glass: cocktail

Garnish: orange peel

So there you have it, it’s totally worth having a look at the videos and the guide to give you some Summer inspiration!
