we are literally the poster girls for ethnic diversity, which was always a running joke in college (especially as we had a chinese friend too). buuut, these are two of my most lovely friends, jina (left) and sharon (middle, who we were visiting in manchester and i miss a lot!).
we went to bella italia, simply because we couldn’t decide where else to go, and had bread with warm cheese to dip into and calamari for starters.
i then embarked on the hottest (literally nearly burned my face off), most heavy lasagne i have ever attempted to eat. it put me in an instant food coma and i didn’t want to move off the seat afterwards.
over the road from the restaurant is the lovely patisserie valerie, which looked amazing.
and, as i have a bigger sweet tooth than a school full of children, i naturally wanted to eat everything.
but i limited myself to two slices of chocolate gateau and two vanilla millefeuille’s. they’re not all for me though, as i bought a slice for my boyfriend and my parents. not sure which ones i’m gonna give up as i pretty much want to cram them all in my face.
i sampled a slice and i can indeed confirm it’s as delicious as it looks. with it being such a huge slice, i couldn’t finish it in one sitting so i shall be looking forward to demolishing the rest later on today.
i’m aware most of these photos are of cake but it probably says everything you needed to know about me. i hope i can do more outdoor outfit photos in future, maybe when it’s warmer i can drag my tripod outside or rope someone into helping me out. we’ll see!
i’ve extended my models own giveaway until this sunday, so go enter it if you haven’t already. oh and my beauty blog sale is still going, take some things off my hands please!
ps. take a peek at see it want it own it for super cute accessories and jewellery!
