I totally wish it was as sunny today as it was in these pictures because my god, it’s gloomy out there! I was supposed to be taking more photos today (and eating cake…) but that’s off the cards and I can’t take beauty photos because it’s so dark in my flat – blogger problems, ey?
Speaking of cake though, it was my birthday yesterday! I’m the grand old age of 26 now which is definitely the wrong side of my 20’s, but I think I’m ok with it. The whole notion of having your life together as soon as you leave University, or at least when you hit your 20’s, is such a rarity and I still definitely don’t have mine sorted yet. To sound like a giant cliche, I know more about ‘me’ over the last year or so than at any other time so if you’re struggling at an earlier age, then don’t worry. You don’t have to figure anything out just yet. Take your time and ignore the pressure, it’ll just bring you down.
Other than words of wisdom, I had a fairly chilled birthday. My bf kindly bought me an Xbox One (complete with four new games), as I do love my gaming and we needed to upgrade eventually, and some Acne boots which haven’t arrived yet (silly order complications, they should arrive tomorrow, but yay sale buys). I didn’t get a cake so I ate an entire profiterole dessert that was meant for four people for lunch. All in all, not a bad day!
