Who's going out this New Year? I'm... not, but I'll probably still throw on the above makeup because you've got to start as you mean to go on, eh. For this post, I've picked out some of my most glamorous makeup for feeling extra special as you see in 2016!

As a base, it's nice to opt for something light every once in a while so the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser is always a good option to create an even tone. If you need some extra coverage, just dot on some concealer to create perfect skin that will last all night without feeling like a mask.

After contouring, I love using the NARS Blush in Sin as it's the perfect wintery shade that you can build up or lightly apply for a subtle flush. One of my favourites! On my eyes, I've opted for the beautiful Givenchy The Makeup Must Haves Palette. From the packaging to the stunning eyeshadows, lip/cheek shades and mini foundation inside, it's such a stunning compact palette! The sparkly gunmetal grey makes the perfect smokey eye too. After eyeshadow, I apply a few coats of the Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Mascara, which gives amazingly thick and dramatic lashes.

To finish, I've went for the beautiful new Tom Ford Lips and Boys Lipstick in Tony, which is the most perfect red. There's something about Tom Ford makeup that just exudes luxury and this lil' lipstick is no exception, the gold and black packaging is gorgeous as is the TF printed on the lipstick itself. I've been addicted to spritzing on the Tom Ford Black Orchid recently and it's replaced my beloved Velvet Orchid as my favourite nighttime scent. With the likes of blackcurrent, orchid, bergamont, patchouli and amber, it's a strong yet stunning fragrance which lasts all day. Plus it looks stunning sat on your dressing table! A few coats of Chanel Le Vernis Nail Polish in 18 Rouge Noir finishes everything off. This colour is so gorgeous, black but not quite with a hint of red - looks ideal with red or berry lips!
